Thanks Akemi! I really enjoyed your article. Often, we think that compassion has to be directed toward ‘big issues’, such as starvation, refugees, or victims of violent crimes. Your article showed how just seeing someone’s need and reaching out to simply ‘be there’, without having to force a solution to a perceived problem, can make all the difference in the world.

Thank you Kenton, Wade, Albert for this GWP. It was great to read all the beautiful entries that participated in it.
I’m learning a lot from them, and I look forward to more such projects, and also more posts from the 3 monks.
Best regards,
Rahul

Thank you, Kenton–along with Albert and Wade–for providing the avenue and the inspiration for us all to connect with and experience various forms of compassion. This was a very good energy that you introduced into the world.
Many blessings to you and all you hold dear,

Thank you for the opportunity to participate.
My congratulations to the winners. Wow what a job
selecting from all the wonderful admissions. You had
to choose 6, but ALL are certainly winners.
I’ve sent my dear husband a link to the NOW watch
as a suggestion for my birthday gift for next month. LOL
I love the simplicity and the power of the message.

Hello CG,
Thanks, and many blessings in return. As you noted, there were so many definitions and interpretations of compassion presented, and that sort of diversity is always encouraging. It helps us all to understand the marvelous simple complexity of the human species.

Hello Deb!
Yes indeed, as you suggest, it was not possible to choose based on a sense of posts being ‘better’ in any way. I think we simply had to choose a variety of articles which approached compassion from different angles. Luckily, I think everyone realizes how each of these writings holds great value =)
As for the ‘What’s Coming’, I had originally written a little ‘teaser’ for my next series of articles, and the title of the post indicated that. I then changed my mind, decided to use this post to highlight the writing project alone, and was promptly distracted by a particularly delightful bar of chocolate. Thus, I forgot to change the title.
The answer to the ‘What’s Coming’ question is now posted, as of today, in my latest entry — There and Back Again, Part One.
Great Big Hugs,
Kenton

Kenton,
Congratulations on such a successful project! I hope it contributed to the success of your blog. And it required quite a bit of dedication for you, Wade and Albert to read through and judge all those entries. Thanks for all your work.

Hi Kenton,
Just wanted to thank you and everybody for participating the writing project and coming to visit www.thenowwatch.com. As more and more people know about and wear The Now Watch I’m hearing back reactions and stories, both expected and very unexpected, that make me feel The Now Watch has all the potential to make the positive impact I envisioned.
So thanks to all, and in a new little ritual I’m enjoying… a virtual cheers, as I raise my imaginary glass to the computer screen, and say, “Cheers, to living in the present moment and all the compassion that flows from it.”
Peace - Adam
