Yes, you are right about the "forcing the bud open". We all keep trying one way or the other, but alas, it is still an effort. 
OSHO also spoke about stepping off the wheel and getting in the centre, just observing and witnessing, without getting involved. 
I realise that I'm still trying. I need to stop and discover it in me.</description>
