Happy Horses Munching Hay
This morning, Rebecca and I stood in the grey dawn, mist on our faces, as the horses munched hay. Perfectly peaceful, there was no other moment. Bills will be paid when we sit to pay them. People will be spoken to when we speak to them. Every problem and travail will be dealt with just as it arises.
Now, there is only quiet munching.
Yesterday, we sat at the board meeting, people discussing important matters. Money, legal concerns. And there was no other moment. Just voices, sounds, all of us playing our roles.
It’s all just quiet munching.
