Since Zen-Inspired Self Development became a reality in 2006, I’ve had the joy of hearing from hundreds of readers who have told me that this site has had an enormous impact on their lives. Sometimes it’s been from readers who read my articles, but often it’s from readers who write to me personally, asking if I can add some clarity to their life situations or to some aspect of their journey toward awakening. I’ve been doing this informally for some time, but have now decided to offer Awake! Spiritual Coaching. Why?
- I believe there is a real value in one-on-one communication.
- Offering this formally will allow me to devote more time to helping others with their Awakening journey.
- I’ve been told over and over that I guide others toward Awakening with lucid, easy-to-understand pointing. In the spirit of ‘doing what we’re good at’, I’d like to make this a more active part of my life.
Unless you are within the United States (in which case we can communicate via phone) or local (in which case we can meet in person), spiritual coaching is offered via email. For $160 a month, you’ll receive unlimited email communication as we explore Awakening together. (I explain unlimited email access below.) Your first two ’sessions’ are always free.
Virtual Dokusan
We talk via email, and you are free to ask any questions you like. Often, I will be asking you questions, since the secret to Awakening lies within yourself. Like a virtual dokusan, we’ll use words to point your mind toward a Direct Experience of Life.
What is ‘Unlimited Email Access’?
This means that you may write as often as you like, and I will respond as quickly as is possible for me. As I do engage in other activities, including my ‘job’ (writing grants for homeless people with mental illness), my coaching practice (which often sees me meeting with people in person), and my own moments of joyful living (riding my horses, hiking, and spending time with Rebecca), I sometimes won’t be able to get back to you right away. I will always respond as swiftly as possible, but at times you may not hear from me until the next day.
