Just as I got to my steps, this bright burst of light blazed down - the brightest shooting star I've seen in ages. Especially as last night when I was coming home from my staff Christmas party, I was walking across to my steps staring up at the sky because it was a crystal clear southern night and the stars were hypnotic. Just as I got to my steps, this bright burst of light blazed down – the brightest shooting star I’ve seen in ages.
